“What can I do to help?” We all say that so often especially when tragedy strikes. But for most of us, it’s not easy to find something to do that will really make a difference. Today, you have a chance to make a difference.

A little over six weeks ago, a 31-year-old Seneca woman was set on fire in a horrible domestic violence attack. She continues to fight for her life daily, in great pain, with burns over more than 70% of her body.

When she is awake and able to talk, she says one thing over and over. “Kitties ok?”

This young woman, doused in gasoline and set on fire by her husband, is not concerned for herself. She is concerned for her two beautiful kitties. It would give this young lady a great deal of peace to know her beloved cats are in a safe place.

Right now, these gorgeous cats are being held in a safe place, but they need a permanent home, or at least a long term foster home that is willing to become a permanent home in the event their owner is unable to resume caring for them in the future.

These two gorgeous tabby cats are front-paw declawed and get along great with everyone, including kids. They absolutely positively have to be indoor cats.

The perfect home for them would be willing to send updates and photos to let the woman know her cats are doing well. Not only would she seriously appreciate it, it will almost certainly help in her recovery.

If you are looking for two beautiful declawed adult kitties to add to your life and want to meet these beautiful cats, please contact the Oconee Humane Society at 864-882-4719 or email info@oconeehumane.org
