Following the news that Catherine Zeta-Jones was being treated for bi-polar disorder, the actress who made her mark on the big screen in “The Mask of Zorro” and dazzled viewers in “Chicago” hit the Tony Awards 2011 stage to present the Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Play.
That honor, of course, went to Mark Rylance of “Jerusalem.”
Back in late April, it was announced that Catherine was being treated for bipolar II disorder. Michael Douglas announced this via the “Oprah” show.
So for her big return to the limelight, Catherine came out in style, wearing a red sequined gown that shimmered and glistened under the Beacon Theatre’s bright lights.
