If you’re looking for family things to do in Hot Springs, Arkansas, with plenty of activities for kids, Catherine’s Landing, a year-round resort operated by RVC Outdoor Destinations, recently announced the addition of twelve zip line courses set to open on March 29, 2014. So as not to interfere with guests lodging at the yurts, RV park or cabins, the zip lines, called AdventureWorks, will be in a separate part of the resort.
Andy Cates, CEO and General Partner of RVC Outdoor Destinations stated, “…we’re pleased to offer a world-class adventure park that includes 12 zip lines, a sky bridge, and an incredible aerial experience”.
According to AdventureWorks President Jennifer Halverson, “We felt there was no better place to get people in the air than beautiful Catherine’s Landing’’.
The entire tour takes approximately 90 minutes traveling through 50 acres of forest. The zip lines, designed for all ages and abilities, have varying lengths and heights, beginning with short and easy lines. With each leg of the tour, guests climb a tower, take a zip line to the ground, hike to the next tower, and continue until reaching the last zip line. Those who complete all of the lines, finish at a beautiful suspended sky bridge.
Although the attraction is open to the public with a cost of $60 for adults and $45 for children under 18, guests staying at Catherine’s Landing will receive a discount.
