Sunny Cross of the MTV reality show “Catfish” was arrested in Arkansas today on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
According to "TMZ,” Cross was arrested at 8:30 a.m. for driving on the wrong side of the road, driving too close to another vehicle, and DWI. Her bond was set at $1,055 which she subsequently posted at 9:30 a.m. Shortly thereafter she tweeted from her official Twitter account, “Last night was hilarious.”
Cross appeared in the first episode of “Catfish,” a reality show about the deceit sometimes involved in online dating. The show arranges for people involved in online relationships, who have never met each other, to connect. In the first episode, Cross' internet boyfriend, Jason, claimed to be a model and TV writer. But when they actually met, Jamison turned out to be a girl named Chelsea.
After her initial post jail tweet, Cross sent out another message, “Well I guess it's safe to say last night was an epic fail.” Perhaps she’s has time to realize that her dangerous act was not funny.
TMZ reportedly called Cross and got her voicemail. Cross disputed that by tweeting, “And despite what TMZ is saying they never tried to contact me. Just lies.”
