Some theaters are having a special double-feature, where they will show the first movie right before the second one. One theater in particular, Cinemark, is having the double feature in the XD theater, a popular choice for movies such as these.

The movie is set to hit theaters worldwide on November 22, but many theaters will have a preshow at 8pm on November 21st. This movie is the highly anticipated sequel to Hunger Games which made $408 million domestically and $691 million worldwide. This is the 2nd movie in the 4-movie franchise and looks like it might do better than the first movie at the box office.
The first movie took the world by storm, remaining in the top spot at the box office for 5 straight weeks, finally being beat out in May by The Avengers. For a few months, it had the 2nd highest 3-day opening for a movie and still holds the 2nd highest 3-day opening for a non-sequel movie (The Avengers holds the title for both categories now).
It is safe to say that this movie is going to have a great opening weekend and with the boost of sales that have been sold over the last two days, I wouldn’t be surprised if they gave The Avengers a run for their money at the box office.
In this movie, Katniss and Peeta must deal with the consequences of their actions from the last Hunger Games while trying to survive yet another Hunger Games.
