'Catching Fire' movie news: Jennifer Lawrence back to Hawaii for filming (Photos)

Although Sam Claflin reported in late December that filming for “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” movie was complete, it seems that wasn’t quite true. The Daily Mail reported this Thursday, Jan. 31, that the talented Jennifer Lawrence recently revealed there’s a full nine days of filming expected for the sequel film left, which will take place in Hawaii.

After hundreds of candid action photos from the “Catching Fire” set in Hawaii were revealed to excited “The Hunger Games” fans back in Nov. and Dec. 2012, now fans may be seeing more of Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen (likely with other cast members) back in the surf and turf in the coming months.

It was reported earlier this week that Liam Hemsworth and Jennifer Lawrence were in New Jersey filming some additional scenes in New Jersey for the start of the film. Lawrence didn’t give a date when the cast and crew would return to Hawaii, but “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” movie actress did mention filming was expected to be entirely completed by mid-March.

Unless all scenes with the rest of the District tributes (including Sam Claflin’s Finnick Odair and Josh Hutcherson’s Peeta Mellark) were finished, it’s likely we fans may catch more of quite a few of Panem’s warriors back in the battle arena before long.
