This is the last weekend to catch the Broadway production of the 80s cult classic - Flashdance at the Fox Theatre! This musical production is the light hearted re-telling of a young town girl hottie who works the tough steel mill job by day and lives out her real dream at night of dancing. The storyline of day job for a paycheck but pursuing a passion in the free time is easy to relate to and has the audience cheering for the lead character when she finally gets her big shot with the prestigious Shipley Dance Academy.
The real draw to this show is the dancing of course, the 80s costumes, and the music. Audience members hear the song this movie is so strongly attached to "What a Feelings" (chair with water scene still included) and "Maniac."
