CAT Theatre will hold auditions for The Joshua Plant on Sunday October 27 and Monday October 28 at 7:00 p.m. The Joshua Plant runs from January 24 through February 8, 2014 and is CAT's entry into the 2014 Richmond Acts of Faith Festival.

Director Laurie Follmer is seeking to cast five actors including two females, aged 35-45; two males, aged 30-50 and one young male actor, aged 11-16. The young male will play Joshua, a boy with severe autism. Follmer notes that the script is physically demanding and that there will be choreographed stage combat. Actors should come to auditions prepared to move.

The Joshua Plant was written by Amy Berlin and P. Ann Bucci and was the winner of CAT's 50th Anniversary Original play contest.

Auditions will be held at CAT Theatre, located at 319 N. Wilkinson Road in Richmond. For more information visit the CAT Theatre website at www.cattheatre.com.
