Cat rescued from house fire

Two-year-old calico cat Cali was saved by firefighters after a house fire on Corlette Avenue in Cleveland.

Cali received treatment at a veterinary clinic after suffering from smoke inhalation. Sadly, another cat in the home did not survive, according to Cleveland.com.

Her owners released Cali to Animals’ Disaster Team. ADT is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization consisting of volunteers trained to provide emergency assistance to northeast Ohio animals in need. They help supply temporary housing, food and first aid to animals affected by fires, severe weather, floods, chemical spills, tornado touchdowns and terrorist activity.

Please contact the Animals’ Disaster Team if interested in adopting sweet and gentle Cali, or if you can help with her medical costs.
