Cat questions answered tonight in Montgomery County

Cats inspire questions—all sorts of questions. What kind of food should my senior tabby eat? Why does our tortie keep climbing the drapes? How often should we take our young Siamese to the vet for checkups? Should I get a kitten to keep my calico company while I’m at work?

Tonight in Montgomery County, curious or confused cat owners can bring their questions to a board-certified feline specialist for answers. Dr. Dale Rubenstein, who practices at A Cat Clinic in Germantown, will present a seminar entitled “Everything (Else) You’ve Always Wanted to Know About Cats (But Were Afraid to Ask).” The seminar will focus on answering some common—and maybe some not so common—questions about feline companions. It will also give local cat lovers a chance to meet and enjoy some light refreshments while doing one of their favorite things—talking about their cats.

“Everything (Else) You’ve Always Wanted to Know About Cats (But Were Afraid to Ask)” takes place tonight, October 19, from 7:00 to 8:30 at the Rockville Public Library, located at 21 Maryland Avenue. The event is free and is sponsored by the Feline Focus Committee of the Montgomery County Humane Society.
