Evie is a sweet, pretty little brown tabby girl who was abandoned in Price Hill when her owners moved. Evie initially stayed close by her house, hoping her people would return for her. When that didn't happen, she began to follow people up and down the street and even jumped right in their cars as if to say, "Please take me home with you." Unfortunately, some folks that Evie approached weren't very nice to her, so she can be a little wary when meeting new people. She warms up quickly, though, and her cute, affectionate personality shines through. At just about 3-years-old, Evie has her playful moments, especially if catnip mice are involved, but is also happy just being close to you and is wonderful little companion. Evie adores her foster mom, but is afraid of other felines (the result of being picked on and chased by other neighborhood cats), so would be best suited for a one-cat household. One more item about Evie, she loves being called "Baby Doll," and she's chosen that nickname for herself!

The Ohio Alleycat Resource & Spay/Neuter Clinic is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, volunteer run organization. They promote non-lethal control for feral cat colonies and humane methods to reduce the population of feral cats. In addition, the organization works to socialize adoptable cats and kittens from the colonies and place them in well-screened homes. O.A.R. has made a difference in the lives of over 1000 abandoned and unwanted cats and kittens. For more information on Maude and other cats available for adoption, you can find them on the web at www.theanimalrescue.com, contact them at 513-871-7297 or email them at info@theanimalrescue.com.
