Announced today, is a free playable demo of Castlevania Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate for the Nintendo 3DS. If you’re one of the many intelligent 3DS owners who is constantly connected to the internet, then be sure to check-in to the Nintendo eShop on February 28th for a chance to demo this title.
“The free demo will showcase intense whip combat, deep platforming, exploration and spectacular visuals,” said Konami in a press release today. The CLOSMOF preview will also feature the combat cross and boomerang; in addition to the stapled heart collecting, players can also expect knight scrolls to enter the amassing hunt.
This Castlevania marks the first version to hit the 3DS since its release. Based on my first take on the title last year, it takes a significant leap in terms of gameplay and graphical fidelity on the 3DS. And based on DS’s impressive Dawn of Sorrow, Order of Ecclesia and Portrait of Ruin - all solid titles - hope remains strong for Lord of Shadow - Mirror of Fate, especially with Trevor Belmont back in the driver seat.
This demo will be downloadable in two weeks, so be sure you have enough room to accommodate it on your SD card. Castlevania Lord of Shadow - Mirror of Fate, will be available to download via the Nintendo eShop in its entirety on March 5th.
