The fans of “Castle” are getting more and more excited about the season finale. Only two episodes left before the decision on whether NYPD Detective Kate Beckett and Richard Castle will tie the knot. It’s been a whole season of courtship as the proposal seems like years ago (in the TV world at least.) On Monday night, the last regular show before the season finale has a flair for murder and it give a glimpse into Kate’s past with her mother. This “Castle” spoiler is for the episode “Veritas” and viewers who do not want to know details about the show should look away now. According to Bustle on Monday, this scenario on visiting Kate’s past helps the couple come together for their big day (expected on next week’s episode.)

A secret investigation conducted by Beckett related to her mother's murder goes awry when a man she has been watching is killed. This is bad news for the NYPD Detective as it looks like there is more to the story than she is sharing. When evidence links Beckett to the victim, she and Castle become the targets of a manhunt that puts both of them in grave danger. There is no time to lose and the visit from the past brings the couple to a realization that they should be together forever.

However, as fans will see in the season finale having a wedding isn't always easy if you are a crime fighter. A shocking surprise threatens to ruin the big day, they are sent on a wild mission filled with masked men, angry bikers and a surprise from Beckett's past that she probably would want to forget.

Will the couple finally get married? The fans are secretly hoping so as everyone would love to spend the summer dreaming about their the fun the TV couple had on their honeymoon and then when the crime fighting pair returns for a new season viewers can't wait to see what crimes they solve again.

“Castle” airs on ABC at 10 p.m. ET.
