"Castle" season 5 may be taking a short break after the exciting two-parter, but on Thursday, Feb. 28, ABC released photos from the next episode, 517, "Scared to Death," which tease what to expect from a case featuring a "haunted" DVD.
In this next "Castle" episode, their victim was apparently "literally...scared to death three days after watching a 'haunted' DVD." This may be one of Castle (Nathan Fillion) and Beckett's (Stana Katic) creepiest cases so far. But then Castle accidentally watches that "haunted" DVD and becomes convinced he's going to be the next to die. It sounds like something right out of a horror movie! And to make this creepy-sounding episode even, well, creepier, Wes Craven will be making a special guest appearance.
The "Scared to Death" photos, which you can check out in the slideshow at the top of this article, offer a look at the crime scene, a police officer holding a young woman back at the crime scene—will she be the one to tell them about this supposedly "haunted" DVD?—and the investigation. Will Castle and Beckett get the answers they're looking for from guest stars Romy Rosemont or Sean Whalen? Just what is on that DVD?
