When "Castle" season 5 began, it introduced a new character in Jack Coleman's Senator Bracken, and in the upcoming episode 13, "Recoil," for which ABC released photos on Wednesday, Jan. 23, he's back. How will Beckett (Stana Katic) deal with facing the man responsible for her mother's murder?
In this "Castle" episode, Castle (Nathan Fillion) and Beckett will find evidence linking the murder of a young woman to Senator Bracken, and though she's determined to bring him to justice, not everything is as it seems. Things are much more complicated, and the promo that ABC has aired, which you can watch below, does show that while Beckett finally has her chance to make Bracken pay, her duty right now is going to be to protect him. Talk about a complicated situation!
The "Recoil" photos, which you can see in the slideshow at the top of this article, offer a look at the investigation, a meeting with Bracken, and Beckett talking to the Senator, whom she last saw in the season 5 premiere, "After the Storm," and she left him with a warning. But she's going to have to be careful going forward. One wrong move, and it could cost her her job.
