“Castle” leading man Nathan Fillion and the lovely Tamala Jones stepped out on the night of Jan. 26 for the Entertainment Weekly Screen Actors Guild Awards Pre-Party hosted by Essie and Audi. The Pre-SAG event was held at Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, California.
Also in attendance with Fillion were friends and fellow actors Alan Tudyk (“Firefly”, “Suburgatory”) and Alyssa Milano (“Charmed”). Milano, if you’ll recall, had a guest spot on “Castle” once upon a time ago in season 2, where she played the role of Rick Castle’s former flame Kyra Blaine in episode “A Rose for Everafter”. Kyra Blaine was quite a special character to Castle’s history, as she was said to be “the one that got away”. Tudyk, on the other hand, is an actor that Browncoat fans have been pulling for to see join the ranks of "Castle" guest stars, much like "Firefly" alums Adam Baldwin and Gina Torres have so far. Baldwin was in last season's "Headhunters" while Torres' episode "Reality Star Struck" will air on Feb. 11.
SAG Awards are handed out to actors for outstanding achievements in television and film, including motion pictures, TV movies and miniseries. Actor Dick Van Dyke is scheduled to receive The Lifetime Achievement Award this evening.
The 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards will be held at the Shrine Exposition Center in Los Angeles, California the night of Jan. 27, and the event will be broadcast simultaneously on networks TBS and TNT at 8 p.m. EST.
“Castle” is on hiatus this week and will return with brand new episode “Recoil” on Feb. 4.
