Death has befallen a reality TV show. The Wives of Wall Street is down one cast member, Hannah Green. This is just a funny case. How could it not be when Beckett and Castle investigate a reality show? There are a lot of secret relationships going on amongst the cast members. It’s not completely unbelievable, but it would have been nice to hear more on Stone and Ashley’s relationship. Stone is in love with Hannah and doesn’t seem to regard Ashley as anything more than a friend. It’s hard to tell what Ashley feels. She could have killed Hannah for ruining her chance at a spin off or maybe because she actually cares for Stone. The writers do a good job of showing multiple sides of a relationship, but they don’t do that with Stone and Ashley. Did you enjoy the case?
Gates is a reality TV show fan! Who knew? This is a fun way to have her in the episode. Plus once Castle gets hooked, there are some great scenes between the two of them. Right now the writers do seem to be struggling with how to realistically include Gates in an episode. She doesn’t really do anything that one of our other NYPD detectives could do. Gates is basically just being used for comedic purposes. Would you like to see Gates more or are you okay with her just randomly appearing in episodes?
Romance is in the air! Ryan struggles to keep up with his wife’s baby making schedule, Esposito and Lanie are back together, and Castle and Beckett are in a gift giving competition. Honestly it is a little weird that there isn’t anything leading up to Lanie and Esposito going on a date on Valentine’s Day no less. The writers should have thrown in a couple scenes with them. This could have happened in previous episodes or even in this one. The scene where Castle finds out is great, and so that shouldn’t change, but there still could have been something more. Do you agree?
