After a dramatic month filled with angst, tears, and a touch of romantic comedy, it will be tough to follow Feb. 25 episode "Hunt", and perhaps that's why "Castle" will be taking a three-week hiatus before it's next episode, "Scared to Death."
"I saw the video. That means I'm next."
Okay, so in actuality the "Castle" crew really needs this three-week breather because episode 16 just aired and they've only just started on episode 19. If it takes 8 days to film an episode...you do the math there. As painful as these lengthy hiatuses can be, it's a necessary evil at times, but at least we'll be returning with what's bound to be a super fun episode.
The seventeenth episode of the season will find Castle and Beckett investigating the murder of a woman who viewed a creepy video and died, seemingly scared literally to death. Castle, naturally, is going to view said video and much like with season 2's "Wrapped Up in Death", will think he's doomed. Hijinks is sure to ensue on this creepy cool episode, and word has it that our quirky, alternate medical examiner, Dr. Sidney Perlmutter (Arye Gross) will be making a return in this episode. Perlmutter's sarcasm and dry sense of humor is always a barrel of laughs when it comes to investigating the freaky ones.
"Castle" 5x17 "Scared to Death" is set to air on Mar. 18. Stay tuned for further information on the episode, including promotional photos and sneak peeks.
