"Castle" will return to Channel 15 in Tempe next week with new episodes, and now fans are being a look at another upcoming episode. On Tuesday, Jan. 1, Spoilers Guide shared the photos released for "Castle" episode 5.11 titled "Under the Influence." This episode will have Castle and Beckett investigating the death of a DJ at a release party, and the investigation will take them deep into the New York music industry. As for the series, earlier spoilers had Castle's dad set to appear on the series during February sweeps, but that might not happen now. TV Line revealed the following recently:
"Contrary to one published report, this season’s February two-parter might not necessarily tackle that tale. 'It’s certainly something that we’re thinking about seriously and trying to find the right angle in on,' show boss Andrew Marlowe explained to me. But as of a few days ago, it’s 'not definitely' going to happen by sweeps. Instead, he says the Castle team is mulling an alternate storyline that promises the annual allotment of 'big tension,' 'personal stakes' and 'fun twists and turns.'"
No word yet on when Castle's father will appear on the series, but it could happen sooner rather than later. Fans are buzzing about this series on social media. One fan said the following on Twitter recently:
