We are still 7 weeks form the kickoff of season 18 of “Dancing with the Stars” but that doesn’t mean the casting rumors aren’t flying. On Jan. 31, Wetpaint provided an up-to-the minute of those lobbying for a pot on what could well be the last season of the dance competition show.
Here are the names and premises we’ve heard about so far. Let us know if you’ve heard anything else, okay?
Way back in December, we heard rumblings about an Al—Oscar Winner season. While that could be interesting, based on the names on the list, it doesn’t look like that will be happening this season – unless none of these people make the cut!
Bruce Jenner has been reported to be “Dying” to be on the show. Latest word is the Kardashian patriarch is close to a deal with the ‘DWTS’ powers that be.
Current “Bachelor” Juan Pablo Galavis has said he would be interested in doing the show. He’s shown his salsa moves on his season of “The Bachelor” a time or 2 and ABC has a history of casting former bachelors and bachelorettes. This is a real possibility.
If you can believe everything that’s tweeted, then Australian pop star Cody Simpson received an offer to appear this season. He didn’t however tweet about whether or not he accepted.
Kelly Brook is a British model/actress who has already competed on the British version of the show, “Strictly Come Dancing.” She is under consideration because of her buddy Derek Hough.
There has been no word from the ‘DWTS’ execs but “Top Chef” alum and “The Chew co-host Carla Hall has thrown her hat in the ring.
The Osbourne offspring have done well in past seasons and now mama Osbourne is interested in her shot. Sharon Osbourne would love a chance and has even signed up 3 times before but had to pass because of schedule conflicts. Could this be her year?
