Chuck Lorre who is known for such comedy greats as "The Big Bang Theory", "Two and a Half Men", and "Mike and Molly" is in the process of designing a new series titled "Mom" - which has a strong chance of being picked up by a network. Why? Well his track record helps and also signing a well known movie star to headline in the new show helps too. Who is the actress? None other than Anna Faris (according to a TV Rage article posted Jan. 5, 2013) who has many great comedy movies under her belt like "Whats Your Number", "House Bunny", and the "Scary Movie" franchise movies.
She is no stranger to television as she and her husband Chris Pratt (from Parks and Recreation) made a recent guest appearance together on "Top Chef".
The series is reportedly about a single mother who is a recovering alcoholic, trying to make a life for her and her child in Napa Valley. Those of you who know of Napa Valley are wondering if the location is part of the comedy plot line - Napa Valley is best known as the California "Wine Country".
