Four time Academy Award nominee Gary Ross has reportedly signed on to direct the first installment in The Hunger Games trilogy based on the novels by Suzanne Collins. Lionsgate Entertainment has acquired worldwide distribution rights to all three books in the series. The film's screenplay is by scribe Billy Ray, who has rewritten a draft of the screenplay by author Suzanne Collins.
Suzanne Collins has extensive experience writing for children’s television. She has worked on the staffs of several Nickelodeon shows, including the Emmy-nominated hit Clarissa Explains it All and The Mystery Files of Shelby Woo. For preschool viewers, she wrote multiple stories for the Emmy-nominated Little Bear and Oswald. She also co-wrote the critically acclaimed Rankin/Bass Christmas special, Santa, Baby! Most recently she was the Head Writer for Scholastic Entertainment’s Clifford’s Puppy Days.
The huge sales of the trilogy novels make the film adaptations a potential game-changer for Lionsgate, the way that Twilight was for Summit Entertainment. Nina Jacobson and her production company Color Force will produce. Nina Jacobson has built an impressive career as a senior film executive and producer, including stints at DreamWorks, Universal and Disney, where she served as President of Walt Disney Motion Picture Group.

Should we put a CD of us singing a song that relates to the story as well as the resume? Because Katniss is supposed to be a really good singer. Therefore, I'm guessing that they'll want to know what we sound like. And should a tape of us saying a monolouge of her heighten any chances? Or should we just wait to see if we get called back?

I have read the books and know by being Prim i would have to dye my hair and wear contacts ,but I am completely fine with that . SO WHAT DO YOU THINK!!!
