The “Screen Actors Guild Foundation” will be holding two important live internet streaming events during the week of Sept. 9, 2013 from Los Angeles, CA. An email invitation from the non-profit organiztion was sent out to SAG/AFTRA members. The “LifeRaft” events program is part of the foundation. They are - “Invaluable opportunities for the professionals of SAG-AFTRA to learn from seasoned industry experts who are ready to offer their personal craft and career guidance.”

According to the email - “The SAG Foundation's Liferaft program - in partnership with the Los Angeles Stage Alliance - is thrilled to present an exciting three-part series of panels populated by industry professionals who work both in film, television and theater. In this panel, casting directors will discuss their work in these fields, how they balance their work flow, and what they notice in actors who thrive in all three mediums.”

The SAG Foundation's “Film/ TV/ Theater Crossover: Part One - Casting Directors” will be on Monday Sept. 9, 2013 at 7 p.m. (10 p.m. East Coast Time). The panelist's include, Nicole Arbusto, Chemin Bernard, Bruce Newberg & Jami Rudofsky. The panel moderator will be Terence McFarland (CEO of LA Stage Alliance).

According to the email, “On set everyone relies on one another to make the best possible film. One close working relationship is that of the costume designer and actors. SAG Foundation's LifeRaft program is thrilled to present a panel populated by expert costume designers who will provide insight into how they work with actors to help create a character.”

The SAG Foundation's “Costuming the Character” will be on Thursday Sept. 12, 2013 at 7 p.m. (10 p.m. East Coast Time). The panelist's include, Christine Bieselin Clark, Trayce Field, Salvador Perez & Mary Vogt.

There will also be a live stream Q&A with Kate Winslet & Josh Brolin after a screening of their new movie called, “Labor Day” (Monday Sept. 9, 2013).
