Casting Crowns is coming to the Family Arena in St. Charles, Missouri. Consider it an early Christmas gift, or just a night out filled with worshipful music. This K-Love award-winning Christian band is coming to the area on December 5, 2013. They will be bringing one of their 18 shows of their latest tour. The band will be performing songs off of their album that released in January, The Acoustic Sessions Volume 1.

Often, when Christian artists are up on stage and in the limelight it's easy to lose focus that they are also human beings living out their faith like everyone else. For one band member, this has recently become a test of faith.
Outside of the tour, band members live out their lives in an effort to please God. For the bass player, Chris Huffman, and his wife this means seeking constant prayer for their baby Silas, who is in need of a healing touch or a possible heart transplant. After the birth of what they thought was a healthy baby, in August things changed. The family sent out prayer requests for their young son on their Facebook page and on Twitter, and he has shown some healthy signs of hope. In a recent Facebook post, Chris Huffman has announced that the baby is on the heart transplant list but has requested that believers pray for a miracle.
