We see the pounds dropped by stars on reality TV hits like Dancing with the Stars and So You Think You Can Dance, but Oxygen has found a way to make the weight loss more of a reality for viewers at home.
Enter their hit (renewed) reality TV series called Dance Your Ass Off.
Titled is as titled does, the show, along with host and broadway star Marissa Jaret Winokur, pair contestants with professional dancers to see who can lose the most weight during the series.
“We loved watching as contestants danced off nearly 500 pounds,” People magazine quoted programming exec Amy Introcaso-Davis as saying.
The show even has a pre-release order option for the take-home workout DVD, but if that's not quite your style you may want to think about being on the show. The Dance Your Ass Off producers are currently casting for the show to be aired in 2010. Click here for more casting information.
