Roaming thoughts ~ Unsettled mind ~ Delayed Decision... Clean up! Trying to delay what is inevitable is more annoying than facing it front and center. You can be a hard worker and wonderful mate, yet are there parts of your life where you look more like a hoarder. Whether it be things or chores, thoughts or decisions... Where there is clutter there resides uncertainty.
"Simplicity is not the absence of clutter, that's a consequence of simplicity. Simplicity is somehow essentially describing the purpose and place of an object and product. The absence of clutter is just a clutter-free product. That's not simple." ~ Jonathan Ive
To have clarity, you must be clear. To be clutter free means that you took the time and effort to make clear of where the uncertainty lies. We call that getting closure. I call it finding your comfort, your zone and resolve. For example, if you want to feel at peace within your home, is it clean? Does it represent a place of peace for you? Have you surrounded yourself with things that soothe or rule you? Are there boxes, clothes, paperwork that need to be reviewed, addressed or tossed? Take a deep breath, stop placing the process on hold and dig in. The gratification of ensuring you are moving forward with a clean slate and peace of mind is priceless.
"Start by doing what's necessary; then do what's possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible." ~ Francis of Assisi
