Cassadee Pope got a chance to perform for the world on Monday night. The entertainer was part of the New Year’s Eve 2013 With Carson Daly where she sang for millions of people in Times Square. The latest winner of The Voice, a reality show taped in Los Angeles, seemed to be delighted at the chance of a lifetime as the fans looked on.
“Going chrome pants tonight. This is gunna be fun! Who’s tuning in to NBC at 10 for the festivities with @CarsonDaly?” tweeted Cassadee Pope from her official Twitter account on Monday.
While The Voice winner was one of the bigger stars in Times Square, the fans came to see the tradition of the ball dropping from the skyscraper when the clock strikes midnight. With thousands of people watching, the minutes ticked down slowly as the people waited patiently to usher in 2013.
