It's here again folks, the Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA and Street Thunder Cats MC of Charlottesville invite you for a heck of a fun ride on Saturday, May 21st, 2011. The weather looks to be perfect for this year's Cruise for Critters, a community motorcycle ride and poker run that sports genuine fun and comeraderie among bike clubs from all over the state.
And after all the rain and lightening this week, what could be better than making a little bike thunder in the sunshine to help our community's lost and abandoned pets receive the care and attention they deserve.
The prizes this year look to be as inspiring as last year's, including two tickets to see ZZ Top at the Charlottesville nTelos Wireless Pavilion on May 31st!

As always, Charlottesville's generous, animal loving businesses have stepped up with both their financial support and presence in support of the CASPCA and the animals in their care. Sponsors include Crutchfield, Jarman's Sportscycles, Chick-fil-A, The Batesville Store, Dogwood Restaurant, Scarpa, Hightech Signs, Martin's Grill - Forest Lanes and Buffalo Wild Wings, where all the post-ride fun wil take place.
Even if you don't ride, come to the after-ride party, it was a don't miss, ton of fun last year and many clubs who couldn't make it for the poker run showed up for the party as did a supportive pile of family and friends of the cruise participants.
Registration starts at 8:00 a.m. and don't forget, Chik-fil-A will have breakfast waiting for you!
Street Thunder Cats of Charlottesville invite you for a leisurely motorcycle ride through our area's beautiful countryside to raise funds for animal care at the SPCA. Riders will stop at three area businesses collecting a poker hand, and the ride will conclude with a celebration at Buffalo Wild Wings.
Entry fees: $15 per bike. Passengers may purchase a poker hand for $10. Extra poker hands are $5. Additional raffle tickets can be purchased for $5 each or 3 for $10.
8:00 AM-9:00 AM: Registration/Sign-in behind Charlottesville Fashion Square parking lot behind JC Penny. Breakfast provided by Chick-fil-A.9:30 AM: First riders out
1:00 PM: Post-ride reception at Buffalo Wild Wings with prizes, raffle and menu specials.
