For those with heavy equipment on their Christmas shopping list, today was the day to make their holiday shopping dreams come true auction style at the first ever CAT Auction Services event held in Las Vegas .
The no-reserve auction of this heavy equipment was conducted at the Cashman Equipment LEED(Leadership in Energy and Environment) Gold corporate headquarters in Henderson..
About 150 buyers registered on-site and took advantage of the opportunity to inspect the equipment up for auction prior to bidding. The number of bidders who participated online was estimated at about double the number who attended the live auction in person.
Todd Gilligan, Cashman Equipment General Manager of Sales and Marketing said," We're excited to be hosting Las Vegas' first CAT Auction Services Event. While live public auctions certainly aren't new, we're happy to be showcasing CAT Auctions difference in style, approach, and features."
"We are thrilled to bring the CAT Auction Services experience to the Las Vegas area," stated Rick Albin, CAT Auction Services President, " while online bidding option is worthwhile checking out, our Leaderboard and theater seating create an atmosphere worth showing up for."
The was an extensive inventory of equipment being auctioned today including wheel loaders, backhoe loaders, industrial loaders, motor drills, generators, lifts, multi-terrain loaders, rough terrain cranes, hydraulic excavators, compactors, water trucks, telehandlers, water wagons, and skid steer loads.
This auction was a no-reserve auction and many wonder how that impacts the final sales price of items being sold. The complete list of lots and their respective sales price is available at http://www.catauctions.com
Henderson construction company owner, Miguel Fonseca, was on hand to look at equipment for his company which has been in Henderson for 15 years known as Fonseca Enterprises and he was thankful the auction came to this area so he didn't have to travel far to acquire this quality heavy equipment.
