Casey Anthony reconnects with Mom and brother..Dad stands firm

ORLANDO, FLORIDA--- It didn't take long for Casey Anthony to work her way back into Cindy Anthony's good graces and that of brother Lee.

Anthony, who a majority of Americans believe murdered her two-year-old daughter Caylee, has reportedly been communicating with her mother, Cindy, with the aid of her brother Lee, who she infamously accused of molesting her.

After being acquitted by a sequestered jury last July without a single piece of evidence having been reviewed, Anthony expressed no interest in establishing contact with her family other than through necessary communications via her attorney, Jose Baez.

Anthony's apparent change of heart toward the mother she claims verbally abused her and the father and brother that she accused of sexually abusing her over the course of more than a decade, allegedly occurred after she was forced into hiding where she still remains, penniless, with nowhere to go and the subject of multiple death threats.

While Cindy Anthony has reportedly jumped at the opportunity at welcoming her disturbed daughter back into the family fold, George Anthony remains less than willing to forgive and forget.

During an interview with Dr. Phil McGraw, which aired on the psychologist's televised talk show several months ago, Cindy Anthony defended her daughter, claiming that her daughter's behavior, including failing to report her child missing for more than 31 days, lying to police about the toddler's whereabouts, blaming an imaginary nanny for the child's alleged kidnapping and participating in hot body contests as two-year-old Caylee lay rotting in a swamp nearby the Anthony home were the result of a combination of possible factors ranging from potential brain tumors to epileptic seizures.

Despite thorough physical and psychological evaluations performed on Casey Anthony while in custody, no such medical conditions were found to be present.

George Anthony, however, has remained steadfast in his belief that his daughter is guilty of murder and that she is the person responsible for the death of his only grandchild.

The embattled grandfather bore the front of Anthony's defense during the course of the trial, being accused of everything from molesting his only daughter to causing the death of his only granddaughter. A former police officer, George Anthony was also the only Anthony family member to assist law enforcement in the investigation of his daughter.

The ordeal has clearly taken its toll, however, on the man who painstakingly searched for his grand-daughter until her remains were found less than a half of a mile from the family's Orlando residence.

Asked by McGraw during the televised interview whether or not he would welcome Casey Anthony back into the family home, Anthony paused, then answered no, adding that if his daughter showed up on his doorstep, he would turn her away.

Recently surfaced videos of Casey Anthony have reignited the simmering rage of a nation still seething from a verdict they feel is unjust.

The self proclaimed "video diaries", which recently emerged on YouTube show anything but a young mother grieving for her dead daughter, as Anthony fails to mention her daughter's name even once. Instead Casey Anthony focuses on  showing off recent nose piercings and raving about her love for her newly purchased phone and webcam.

As recently reported, a move is underway to have Casey Anthony brought up on Federal charges relating to the death of two-year-old Caylee Anthony. Those interested in urging that federal charges be brought against Anthony may contact the United States Attorney General's office for more information at 202-514-2000.
