Casey Anthony’s life story may be sold as a way for the “tot mom” to pay off her debts after filing bankruptcy, Fox News reported on Mar. 19.
According to the report, the trustee in charge of Casey Anthony’s bankruptcy case filed a motion to sell Anthony’s life story as a source of income.
Casey was acquitted of murdering her daughter, Caylee Anthony in 2011, in one of the most watched trials of all time. Since that time, Anthony has been mostly in hiding, and has yet to speak about her side of the story, including at trial.
“Due to the intense public interest in Debtor and the Property, the Trustee believes that there will be interest from others in purchasing the Property," the motion reads. Meaning that if exclusive rights to Casey Anthony’s life story were to be sold the “tot mom” could stand to make millions off the deal, pay off her debts, and still have money to burn.
