On March 4, Casey Anthony finally came out of hiding to appear in Tampa court regarding her bankruptcy. According to "Good Morning America" via Yahoo! News, the 26-year-old was hiding her face as best she could by putting a floppy hat up to her mug to avoid being photographed.
By way of background, Anthony was acquitted of killing her two-year-old daughter in 2011 even though doubts have been shed in a case that was and still is of interest around the world. As evidence, one person who spotted the troubled woman on Monday asked her point blank if she had, indeed, gotten away with murder.
Of course, this inquiring mind was probably speaking in a rhetorical way as Casey Anthony made her first public showing since she was acquitted. Before today, she has been out of sight but had to show up to court on this occasion to take on her bankruptcy prompted by being out of work for the past four years.
Anthony's lawyer was asked if he would make a statement today, but Charles Greene didn't answer right away. He did tell ABC earlier this year that living life in what would be perceived as a "normal" way would not be something Anthony can look forward to achieving.
Known among certain media circles as "the most hated woman in the world," Casey Anthony continues to get death threats and continues to live a life away from the public eye possibly because of those reasons. The troubled woman was forced to go out in public on March 4 because she was forced to meet with creditors to talk about her bankruptcy.
She did this while wearing almost all black, perhaps as a way to try to blend in while going out to face others in this initial public appearance since Casey Anthony was first acquitted back in 2011 of killing her two-year-old daughter, Caylee Anthony.
