Casey Anthony in bankruptcy owes money to 'Bones' creator Kathy Reichs

In bankruptcy papers that were filed Jan 25, 2013, Casey Anthony reported that she owes Kathy Reichs for consulting fees. Kathy Reichs is a forensic anthropologist who is the basis for the lead character Temperance Brennan in the Fox TV show “Bones”.

Kathy Reichs told USA Today in 2011 that she consulted for Casey Anthony because of the biased coverage of the press. She has written over 15 novels and is co creator of the successful TV show “Bones” which is shown in syndication on Tulsa TV. She doesn't need the consulting fees and is unlikely to get any from the bankruptcy court. Casey Anthony claims to have only about $1000 in assets. Anthony in Jan 2012 bragged about buying a new laptop, but she claims in her bankruptcy filing that her laptop and household furniture is only worth $200.

Casey Anthony was largely acquitted of killing her daughter Caylee because the prosecution lied. They claimed that they knew that Casey Anthony put duct tape over Caylee's mouth. However when the body was found Caylee's body had deteriorated and Caylee had no mouth.

The prosecution also claimed that Casey Anthony had a premeditated plan to kill Caylee and tried to snow the jury into believing that Casey Anthony's plan was to keep the body in her car until it reeked. One of the prosecutors wrote a novel which was turned into a TV movie starring Rob Lowe.
