Cartoon series teaches children about fighting for liberty

Liberty Kids is a cartoon series which educates 7 thru 13 year olds about American history in the Revolutionary war era. This animated show follows 2 young reporters around as they cover news effecting policies from slavery to Americans fighting against Britain rule.

These reporters write for Benjamin Franklins newspaper called the Philadelphia Gazette. The female reporter encounters sexism while gathering information and helping the oppress. At one point these reporters are helping a freed African American former slave of Benjamin Franklin's, find and buy his brother out of slavery.

Some of the celebrity voices in the cartoon includes: Walter Cronkite, Slyvester Stallone, Ben Stiller, Billy Crystal, Dustin Hoffman and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
