Cartoon Network ‘Hall of Game Awards’ set for February 20

It’s a sports awards show with a kiddie twist. Cartoon Network’s second annual “Hall of Game Awards” is set to air on February 20. The host will be basketball legend Shaquille O’Neal.

According to a press release for the show, rapper a Flo Rida will appear as will Hot Chelle Rae and a bevy of athletes, including pro soccer goalie Hope Solo, New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz, pro surfer Maya Gabiera and – for you Philadelphia football fans -- Eagles wide receiver Desean Jackson.

So what sets this awards show part? First up, the categories are F-U-N.

With nominees for categories like “She’s Got game” (in which both Solo and Gabiera are nominated),Gnarliest Newb (the award for the top rookie) and “That’s How I Roll” (the award for the most stylish athlete—and yes, David Beckham is a nominee) there’s something for everyone.
