Cars, Stars and Going Gaga at Carl Casper Custom and Louisville New Car Show

Go Gaga at this year’s Carl Casper’s Custom and Louisville New Car Annual Auto Showat the Kentucky Exposition Center. A special Lady Gaga Look-A-Like Contest sponsored by 99.7 WDJXwill be held all three days of the show, Friday, Feb. 24 through Sunday, Feb. 26. First, second and third places will each receive cash prizes plus two tickets to the upcoming Lady Gaga concert on Saturday, March 12 at the Expo Center’s sister facility, the KFC Yum! Center.

Along with a chance to score two free tickets to Lady Gaga in March, attendees of this annual car lover’s haven can browse a variety of autos - custom, nostalgic race, championship and new models. New in 2011 are the exclusive automobile manufacturers’ exhibits where all major manufacturers will be under one roof. Also on display will be the all-electric Chevrolet VOLT that was named “Green Car of the Year,” the lightweight $5 Million “X Prize” Winner Edison2 and Black Beauty from the recently released Green Hornet that starred Seth Rogen, Cameron Diaz and Jay Chou.

Returning as part of this annual show is the Lowriders Hopping Nationals presented by Cool Cars and CCE Hydraulics. Here ground pounding automotive machines will battle it out on Friday and Saturday with the explosive finals scheduled for Sunday at 2 p.m. in Freedom Hall.

Fans of iCarly, Shake It Up, Days of Our Lives, The Amazing Race, VIVA La Bam and Billy the Exterminator can also meet these great stars:

  • Nathan Kress who plays “Freddie” on iCarly on Saturday from 12:30 p.m.-5 p.m. and 7 p.m.-9 p.m. in the South Wing A.
  • Bella Thorne who is “CeCe Jones” on Shake It Up on Saturday from 1 p.m.-5 p.m. and 7 p.m.-9 p.m. in the North Wing.
  • James Scott who is “E.J. Dimera” on Days of Our Lives on Sunday from Noon-4 p.m. in the South Wing A.
  • Billy Bretherton who is Billy the Exterminator on Friday from 6 p.m.-10 p.m. in the West Wing.
  • Raab Himself from VIVA La Bam, CKY and Jackass on Friday from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m., Saturday 1 p.m.-5 p.m. and 7 p.m.-9 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m.-3 p.m. in Freedom Hall.
  • Local favorites Kent and Vyxsin of The Amazing Race on Friday from 6:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m., Saturday from Noon-5 p.m. and 7 p.m.-9 p.m. and Sunday Noon-4 p.m. in the West Wing.
  • Also of The Amazing Race Jennifer Hoffman and Gary and Mallory Ervin on Sunday from Noon-5 p.m. in the North Wing.

Wrestling fans can get up and personal with WWE’s The Million Dollar Man, Ted DiBiase all three days in the West Wing and TNA Superstars AJ Styles, Tara and Madison Raynes during select days and times in the North Wing.

Show hours are Friday 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday noon to 6 p.m. Admission is $15 per adult, $5 per youth (six to 12-years-old) and free for children five and younger. A $2 off admission discount coupon is available through Thursday, Feb. 24 at all Greater Louisville Automobile Dealers Association (GLADA).
