What could be better than spending the morning having a great breakfast and coffee, all while having the opportunity to check out dozens of sporting automobiles from the last 50 years? Well that's exactly what "Cars and Coffee" is all about.
Cars in attendance ran the gammut from over 50 years of motoring history. The 50's were well represented by a 1957 Cadillac Convertible, an MGA and a Jaguar XK150. From the 60's and the 70's there was an Alfa Romeo, Ferrari, Jaguar XKE and an original Mini Cooper, plus a couple of Fiat 500's and a vintage Mercedes SL.
Other cars included a Toyota Twin Turbo Supra, Lancia Fulvia Zagato, Alfa Romeo Duetto and 164, various Corvettes and Cobras, and a rare targa Ford F40. There was definitely something exciting to see for everyone.
The lady who owned the SL mentioned that Johnny Carson used to own the same car back in the day. Other standouts included an Ariel Atom, Rolls Royce convertible, a couple of Lotus Elises and two Ferrari Testa Rossa's, one that was painted in a rare blue color.
This is an easy way to create an event in your area. Just pick a local establishment, pick a day and spread the word. Make sure that the owner is OK with the arrangement and there you go, you'll have an instant Concour D'Elegance with very little planning. Here are some more pictures and a Slideshow.
