Carrie Underwood would 'never say never' to being an 'American Idol' judge

NASHVILLE, Tenn., March 2, 2013 - Award-winning Country singer Carrie Underwood quickly rose to fame on a little show called American Idol in 2005. Since her glorious win, she has sold roughly 15 million albums, been honored with six Grammy Awards, and scored an impressive trail of No. 1 hits, including her most recent chart-topper "Blown Away," with her latest entry "Two Black Cadillacs" projected to follow suit. Before the Grammy ceremony last month, Underwood admitted that she would never pass up the opportunity to appear on the Idol or The X-Factor judging panel.

''I'd never say never. I think I could do things in a very constructive way," she tells Glamour UK in their upcoming April issue. "But those initial auditions, where you have to say no or tell someone to stop? I don't know if I could do that.''

With countless superstar collaborations under her belt (ranging from jazz legend Tony Bennett to Aerosmith), Underwood says she would also love to work with several British artists in the future, including Oscar-winning "Skyfall" singer Adele. ''I love Jessie J, I think she's fearless, which is great," she continues. "Coldplay. Adele, of course. I'm up for anything.''

Of course, a glamour conversation isn't quite complete without the blonde beauty dishing about her hair, flawless makeup and her incredibly healthy lifestyle. "We can't help it. Us Southern girls love three things: eyeliner, sequins and really big hair," Underwood quips of her need for hairspray. Currently, the Okie singer is out on the road on the second leg of her Blown Away Tour, and despite having an entourage on hand 24/7, she continues to do her own laundry and cook her own meals. "Veggie burgers and quesadillas" comprise her typical on-the-road diet, she notes with a smirk. "People walk on the tour bus, and it stinks."

Underwood is slated to take a break from her critically acclaimed tour to headline the Country 2 Country music festival at The O2 Arena in London on March 17.
