Multi-platinum selling country artist Carrie Underwood may be frequently seen at hockey games supporting her soon-to-be husband Ottawa's Senator's Mike Fisher, but on February 7, she can be seen on football's biggest night.
It was announced today that the multi-platinum selling country artist will sing the national anthem at Super Bowl XLIV in Miami.
Underwood joins Whitney Houston, Billy Joel, and Beyonce in big artists who have sung the national anthem at the Super Bowl.
Queen Latifah will join Underwood in praising the nation by singing “America the Beautiful” at the game.
This Sunday Underwood can be seen at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards on CBS. She is up for two awards, including 'Best Female Country Vocal Performance'.
She is already a four-time Grammy winner.
