Two days stand in the way between Carebears and Carrie Underwood's new single "Good Girl." As evidenced in a YouTube video the "Before He Cheats" songstress uploaded today, she is putting the finishing touches on her highly anticipated fourth studio album.
The album--which is being produced by Mark Bright--is expected to drop May 1. In the meantime, the lead single hits radios this Thursday, February 23. Critics and fans alike are vibrating in anticipation.
In the YouTube Video, Underwood takes us inside the studio as "Good Girl" blasts in the background. The track has a Shania Twain polish to it that should do quite well at radio. Much like her other rockin' tracks--such as"Before He Cheats" and "Cowboy Casanova"--the new tune is an ode to ward off an unwanted (male) species.
"I thought, I don't think I'm supposed to do this," Underwood jokes," I thought I'd give you guys a little teaser cause hey, what are they gonna do to me?"
