Carrie Underwood is a sneaky one, especially when given the opportunity to perform live in front of thousands of fans. During Brad Paisley's Beat This Winter Tour stop in Nashville on Saturday (Feb. 22), the powerhouse made a guest appearance to perform "Remind Me," alongside the hat-wearing crooner.
"Just got to join the great @BradPaisley on stage at the Bridgestone Arena tonight in Nashville! I'm always so amazed and proud of my friend!" Underwood tweeted to her 3 million followers. Their sweeping collaboration is lifted from Paisley's "This Is Country Music" disc, released in 2011 and also featuring the hit "Old Alabama" with the '80s country-rock band Alabama.
As an added treat, Underwood (finally) met up with "The Voice" season 4 winner Danielle Bradbery backstage before the show. "AND I got to meet THE one and only @DBradbery Such a sweetie!" she gushed. On more than on occasion, Bradbery has cited Underwood has a direct musical influence, which can be observed on the singer's debut single "The Heart Of Dixie," currently perched outside the Top 10 at radio.
Rumor has it, Underwood is currently writing and seeking out songs for her Blown Away followup, with new music (either single or album) due later this year.
