CMT's popular show, CMT Crossroads, teams up a country star with an artist from another genre of music, combining their talents for a great night of music. The latest pairing has country superstar Carrie Underwood joining Aerosmith lead singer Steven Tyler. The show is part of the Pepsi Super Bowl Fan Jam, airing on CMT on February 4th at 8:00 pm PT.
Underwood and Tyler performed together at the ACM Awards in 2011, singing Carrie's #1 hit, "Undo It," and followed that up with the Aerosmith classic, "Walk This Way."
The show will originate from the Pepsi Coliseum at the Indiana State Fair Grounds. The concert is a private event.
Underwood and Tyler are just the latest pairing of stars to tape a CMT Crossroads special. Other artists that have teamed up in previous shows include: Bon Jovi and Sugarland; John Mayer and Keith Urban; Kelly Clarkson and Reba McEntire; Def Leppard and Taylor Swift; and Train and Martina McBride.
Carrie Underwood will release her fourth studio album on May 1st. The lead single from the disc, "Good Girl" is scheduled to be released to country radio on February 23rd. Carrie will also be attending the Grammy Awards on February 12th, where her song, "Mama's Song," is nominated for Best Country Solo Performance.
