Carrie Underwood's 'Last Name' goes Platinum

Carrie Underwood's single 'Last Name' went Platinum this week after selling more than one million copies. The RIAA certified the single from Underwood's Carnival Ride album Platinum having sold a million digitial copies.

Carrie Underwood, who found sudden fame in 2005 as the winner of American Idol, has released 15 singles - six of them have been certified Platinum.

'Last Name' debuted on the Billboard charts at No. 43 and eventually grabbed the top spot on the country songs charts.
