Carrie Underwood has been a household name since she won Season 5 of “American Idol.” She has had several hit songs, almost all of them back to back. When it was announced that Underwood would be starring in the live musical “Sound of Music” on NBC, fans were excited. The reviews were mixed, but she did her best. According to a September 4 report from E! Online, Carrie Underwood's hit song “Two Black Cadillacs” will be made into a television series for Fox. The show will be a six-hour event with Underwood serving as executive producer.

This week has been full of news about Carrie Underwood. On Monday she announced she was expecting her first child with husband, Mike Fisher. The couple has been married for four years and lead a somewhat normal life for celebrities. There hasn't been much news about the pregnancy, but fans are hoping that the couple will announce a due date. Underwood mentioned the baby is to be born in early spring, which is why she is pegged as due sometime in March 2015.

Fox is releasing several new shows for the upcoming fall season. “Two Black Cadillacs” will feature a love triangle in the south. Like in the song there will be both a mistress and a wife. Carrie Underwood will be working with the show closely as she was also one of the co-writers on the hit song. The network doesn't plan to play the show out longer than the six hours but if the ratings are good, fans hope they will reconsider.
