Carrie Underwood posted a home video on her Facebook page of her hockey player husband Mike Fisher trying to gently capture a chipmunk that got in the couples house to release the furry visitor safely outside.
Underwood is heard saying "A squirrel got into our house" during the video when her husband tells her the animal is a chipmunk as he attempts to capture it in a plastic container. Underwood also said "Don't hurt it" as the chipmunk begins to squeal before they release it outside.
The rescue went well for the chipmunk but Underwood’s husband didn’t escape injury free according to another video posted to Underwood’s Twitter page showing the chipmunk bite marks that Fisher received during the chipmunk rescue.
Underwood said "Mikey, show me your hand" which reveals the bite marks on his hand while Fisher says "Newfound respect for the mighty chipmunk.” Underwood also had fun posting a Twitter chipmunk update saying "The chipmunk is back outside where it belongs! Chipmunk -1, @mikefisher1212's hand -0."
