Country superstar Carrie Underwood is using her talents for good, as the singer-songwriter has penned a special song for this year's "ACM All-Star Salute To The Troops." Set to tape at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, the event will honor those men and women of the armed forces.

The song, titled "Keep Us Safe," was especially written for the event by Underwood and industry taste makers Luke Laird, Hillary Lindsey and Shane McAnally. No other details have been revealed.

Underwood joins previously announced performers Dierks Bentley, Lee Brice, Luke Bryan, Merle Haggard, Hunter Hayes, Toby Keith, Tim McGraw, Kellie Pickler, George Strait, Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton, Keith Urban, Florida Georgia Line, Lady Antebellum and The Band Perry.

Co-hosted by Grammy regular LL Cool J and Chris O'Donnell, the special will be taped on Monday, April 7 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. It will later be broadcast on the CBS Network on May 20 at 9/8c.

Ticket sales, currently running $105, $155 and $205, will benefit the ACM Lifting Lives.
