Carrie Underwood has made it as a finalist for the fan voted “Milestone Award.” Billboard reported on April 21, 2014 that Underwood received enough votes to land in a top three spot and has now moved on for the final round of voting along with Ellie Goulding and OneRepublic. Underwood’s fans got their reminder to vote when the good news was spread on her Facebook page saying “Carrie is now one of the 3 finalists for the “Billboard Music Awards” Chevrolet Milestone Award and you still have time to vote!”

Underwood faced Luke Bryan, Imagine Dragons, John Legend, OneRepublic and Ellie Goulding in the first round of voting for "The Milestone Award.” Voting is open now for the three names that made into the second round for "The Milestone Award” and will continue through the first two hours of the “2014 Billboard Music Awards.” Kelly Rowland and a fan will announce the name of "The Milestone Award” winner during the award show.

Producer of the 2014 “Billboard Music Awards” Larry Klein said "The Milestone Award presented by Chevrolet is a 100% fan voted category putting the final selection process in the hands of the music fans themselves" adding "Carrie Underwood, Ellie Goulding and OneRepublic have made a tremendous impact on music over the past year making it an exciting race completely determined by the fans voting right up through the first two hours of the live broadcast."

Luke Bryan tops the list of nominated country performers for the “2014 Billboard Music Awards.” Imagine Dragons and Lorde head into the award show tied for the most nominations for earning nods in twelve categories. The performers set to hit the stage for the show include Bryan, Jason Derulo, John Legend, OneRepublic and Imagine Dragons. You can catch the “2014 Billboard Music Awards” live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on May 18, 2014 at 8:00 p.m. EST on ABC.
