Carrie Underwood has made it on the "Time 100" list. On Thursday, Taste of Country shared the news that this country star made the list for the 100 most influential people in the world. That is a pretty big award for a girl from a small town in Oklahoma.

This list doesn't have very many musicians on it but Carrie is on the list. Brad Paisley helped with her induction and said, "Not only has she earned her place, she’s also raised the bar: she’s a prolific songwriter, a trendsetter and an Opry member. But it’s her decency as a person that is so impressive." It is great to hear how other country artists feel about her.

The new Time that will hit newsstands on Friday April 25 will have this list in it. It is great to see a country music artist featured and fans of Carrie Underwood will want to pick up a copy of it to check out. She is doing a great job of being a great role model and also keeping up with her husband and career.
