Carrie Underwood announced her engagement to Mike Fisher over the weekend. Mike Fisher, 29, is the center for the Ottawa Senators and asked Carrie to marry him this weekend, and she accepted. The couple has been dating for about a year.
"I’m happy to confirm that Carrie Underwood is engaged to Mike Fisher, and the couple couldn’t be happier," according to a statement from Carrie Underwood’s rep. "No wedding date has been set at this time."
The engagement was announced Monday, so the buzz on this story is hot today, and fans want to see the engagement ring. This photo is the closest view of the ring so far, but even at a distance one can see how large it is.
