What is all the buzz about the comments from Carrie Underwood of a bromance between her hubby Mike Fisher and her buddy Blake Shelton? Carrie and Blake's wife, Miranda Lambert, have become very close friends, and it seems the husbands are good buddies now as well. Taste of Country shared the details on Wednesday.
Apparently when Carrie and Miranda were working together on “Somethin' Bad,” and during the recent ACMs, the guys had a lot of time to bond. Carrie Underwood's “bromance” joke goes on to reveal that she doesn't want Mike to get jealous over the fact that Shelton has numerous bromances going on, so she doesn't bring it up to her hubby. Of course fans of “The Voice” know that Blake and fellow mentor Adam Levine have quite the bromance in place as well.
Clearly the two couples have become quite tight-knit, and Carrie says that it's nice to have people who understand the life of a touring musician. It certainly must be nice for Fisher to bond with Shelton, as he's an outsider to the industry and it surely makes it a bit more fun to be by his wife's side at industry events.
Fans are getting a kick out of the new video that Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert put together for “Somethin' Bad.” The duet is on Lambert's new album “Platinum,” and Underwood tells Access Hollywood that she thinks it's a “really good blend of both of our styles.” How does Mike Fisher feel about Carrie Underwood's bromance jokes? He hasn't said anything via Twitter, but chances are good that if he's friends with Blake Shelton, he's got a pretty solid sense of humor over such things.
